During our most recent construction project we were fortunate enough to be in the capable hands of Zavosh Consulting. Our latest multi-millionaire dollar project was plagued by being an extremely difficult live site to work on, not just in terms of the layout of the building itself being hard to work on but also dealing with the fact that many of the people in our buildings required that extra-touch. The professionalism of Zavosh never wavered in this regard, both when communicating with us and when challenged by individuals who lived on site.
This project was also complicated by the fact that we had a revolving door of construction site-superintendents, COVID-19 complications, a flood, and ever-changing security concerns and protocols. All of these problems and others were quickly handled and dealt with appropriately by Zavosh. Allen and Pete both were instrumental in being able to adapt and overcome all the issues we had during the construction and reiterating our concerns in a thoughtful and effective manner to ensure all parties were satisfied.
It is the society’s opinion that Zavosh Consulting is not only able to get the job done and hold contractor’s and construction to a high-degree of excellence, but also are able to convey information in a thorough manner that even a laymen can understand. They were able to keep us as housing providers included and a part of the process to a very high degree and we were able to gain greater knowledge in both the project itself and also instrumental in ensuring we received the best quality work and craftsmanship from our contractors.
It is with no hesitation that we are highly recommending Zavosh Consulting for their consulting work done with us and giving us peace of mind throughout the whole year and a half project at our 4206 Alexis Park project in Vernon. We know that we were in capable hands and given the opportunity we would welcome the chance to work with them again on any future projects.

Zavosh Consulting under the lead of Pete Levesque supervised the rebuild of Lion Roy Campbell Lodge in 2020 and the first few months of 2021. It was a $2.5 million rebuild, including, decks (some of which had started to deteriorate), windows, flooring, siding, roof, heat pumps and suite upgrades. This was part of a BC Housing initiative to ensure this 26-Unit independent living subsidized seniors residence was in operation for the next 25 years.
They did an excellent job and we would highly recommend them. They held site meetings with all parties, did regular inspections and highlighted numerous problems with clear reports including photos and re-inspections to ensure that the job met construction standards. We were informed at all times of how the rebuild was progressing and all problems which arose were consulted on and dealt with in a timely manner. They also handled the financial requirements with timely reports and invoices.

Allen Zavosh is a very professional individual who immediately demonstrates a genuinely trusting personality. He is extremely thorough, efficient, responsible and has integrity. He’s someone who you can count on to do the project right the first time.
Allen of Zavosh Engineering was referred to us after we had contacted several companies who came out to access the waterproofing repair project on the south wall of our house. We had a few companies come to assess the situation but Allen was the only Engineer who was able to resolve it. Allen did an assessment of our foundation wall, took photos, and shortly thereafter made written recommendations with a fair estimate to rectify the problem. He resolved our issue in a timely manner, communicated with us throughout the project, and made sure we were 100 percent satisfied at the end. He made an additional recommendation that would increase the safety aspect of our home in the event of an earthquake. Allen finished our project leaving the front of our house looking aesthetically pleasing so we didn’t lose the curb appeal but only gained a home that was dry, safer and was approved by the District of North Vancouver Engineering Department.

I have worked with Zavosh Consulting Inc (ZCI) for a number of years now and it has always been the best professional experience for me. ZCI’s projects are always completed on time and on budget.
The latest capital project we have completed under ZCI’s guidance was repairs to balconies and cladding for apartment buildings managed by Terra Property Management in 2016. ZCI has also conducted leak investigations and provided recommendations to resolve these issues to prevent more damage to the building envelope.
ZCI professionalism and attention to detail has made the project a successful investment.
ZCI provided us with project manuals that detail all aspects of the project from start to finish; including landscaping, construction details, and clean up to ensure that the surrounding areas look great after the construction crew is gone.
ZCI are there to support every step of the way and work to fulfill our needs. I would recommend their services to anyone wanting professional help to get the project done right the first time.

At The Maples, we feel we made an excellent choice in hiring Zavosh Consulting Inc. to act as consultant and project manager for our exterior wall remediation project. It was a major project that included rain screening of the exterior walls, installing new windows and doors, waterproofing the roof deck and replacing the asphalt shingle roof. Zavosh Consulting’s role was preparing drawings for tendering, helping us selecting the construction company, performing field reviews, as well as contract administration. In all areas, they showed themselves to be experienced and reliable and performed to our satisfaction and at the highest level of quality.
Working with Allen Zavosh and staff during our one year long project, we always felt confident that the interests of our building were being well looked after. They were always professional, knowledgeable and approachable. Allen developed a good rapport with the unit owners, always keeping us well informed through information sessions and biweekly project meetings and emails.
During the remediation process, the owners often commented that we were very lucky to have made the decision of hiring Zavosh Consulting as the consultant and project manager for our building restoration.
I have no hesitation to recommend Zavosh Consulting to anyone in need of building envelope engineering services.

Zavosh Consulting were referred to us by one of our previous mechanical contractors.
We were looking for a reliable roofing contractor and project manager to undertake the task of replacing the tar and gravel roof on our 20 year old four story building.
The roof had many serious engineering issues that were unfortunately part of the original design. We worked with ZCI and the recommended roofing contractor to have a new roof constructed on our complex. We had many quotations and went with the recommended roofing contractor.
Zavosh Consulting prepared the design drawings and worked with the contractor and the Strata Council from May 2014 to March 2015. There were many trying times in dealing with the old roof design. Allen Zavosh P.Eng. worked closely with the roofing materials manufacture’s engineer to come up with a most ingenious roof design to eliminate the major drainage problem due to the poor original design.
We are delighted now to have an engineered roof free from leaks and in particular water pooling due to poor drainage.
In March 2015 to May 2016, ZCI consulted on the major envelope leak with window and wall assembly.
I would recommend their Professional services to anyone wanting to engage a company with integrity, eager to ensure the project is done right the first time, on time and within budget.

Zavosh Consulting was engaged by the Strata Council (on behalf of the Owners) at Lake Placid Lodge to complete detailed design and project management of a parkade membrane remediation project. Zavosh completed the engineering services in a timely manner, with a high level of quality and professionalism. Additionally, the weekly observation/inspection reports prepared by Zavosh during the project were very thorough and detailed.
We would recommend Zavosh Consulting for any building envelope services.
